As I See It - Vaccinations

When someone wrote that those who are considered Anti Vaccination were callously stupid, which I thought might be a bit of an over reaction, I researched the reasons why some people may be anti vaccination.  Before I researched vaccines, I was in the informed consent group, but didn't think there were any real drawbacks to getting them.  After my thoughts on falsified research and misleading studies being confirmed through research, and reading about the dangers of vaccines, along with what doctors are not telling patients, and not showing them the vaccine inserts.... and on and on, I feel the best thing you can do is start researching this topic.

For example, let's take the measles vaccine.  There have been zero to 4 deaths in the last 10 years linked to measles, although the deaths may not have actually been caused by measles, but some other health problem with measles as a contributing factor.  In the same time period, there have been 95 - 108 deaths from the vaccine, plus possibly thousands of minor to life long problems, such as brain damage, autism, etc.  As I see it, if I had a happy, healthy child, would I want to take the chance of getting him or her vaccinated?  And what would happen if he/she had a major life long reaction to the vaccine, but it happened after the allotted time period for getting a settlement from the government (because remember, the company that makes the vaccine is not liable).  Then not only do I have a damaged child, but medical bills that would cause me to lose everything I've worked for.  Also, only about half of the problems which happen within the time period listed actually collect anything.  And still, $2.8 billion has been paid out for damages for "safe" vaccines.  And these damages are damages to humans, not a car or computer or something that can be replaced.

What does no liability mean?  The company making it doesn't have to worry about contaminants, testing, adjuvants, or side effects, and has no reason to make it safer.  And they still get the money for the sales.  Why would I trust this?  Why would you?

You might say it's for the greater good.  Do you want to tell that to the parents of a child who has been killed or permanently damaged?  And for the greater good, should we not then outlaw smoking and drinking?  Second hand smoke and DUI's kill a lot more innocent people than the diseases vaccines are supposed to help.  And let's not leave prescription drugs out of this - they kill over 100,000 people a year, and that doesn't count people killed by those on drugs that cause violent behavior, leading to suicide or homicides.

Thankfully we have the internet, and you can see the CDC website, VAERS, find the statistics on vaccines, read the inserts of the vaccines, find out the possible side effects of these and of drugs, and make an informed choice.  Whatever you do, DO NOT get your (mis)information from the media.

Other long term health problems that I've discovered while researching immunizations and that may be caused by them:  allergies, asthma, autoimmune problems, some cancers, etc.
