Bikini Contest Photos from Venice Beach on June 28, 2014

One of the reasons it took an extra day to post these is that I was taking a 3 day CreativeLIVE course in High End Retouching.  They have many great courses - the best thing is to head over to CreativeLIVE to check out what they offer - now and in the future.

But for now, back to the bikini contest photos (in no particular order):

Another Saturday, Another Bikini Contest at Venice Beach

I think the title says it all - except for the following.  Only a few photos today - it's late and I shot too many photos to post at once.  Also, if the girl with the Dragon or Snake tattoo stop by here, I wanted to thank her for being so nice and posing for a few photos - she was one of my favorites.  Here are those photos, as well as two photos of the winners (you can see more in the follow up post tomorrow and on my FB page):

And for the ladies, the last photo for today.....More to follow from this contest in the coming days.  All shot with my Panasonic FZ30 beach camera.

One More Full Size Bikini Photo from Venice Beach Contest

For those of you who would like to see more detail, here is a full size photo from Saturday.  It will also show you what a kit zoom lens is capable of at 46mm setting, and f4.5 at 1/1000 second, ISO  400.

Who is your favorite?

This time, clicking on the image will show it smaller.

Venice Beach First Day of Summer Bikini Contest

I love Summer - long days, nice weather, the beach, and the occasional bikini contest.  There will be one each week throughout the Summer at Muscle Beach.  If you've ever wondered what exercise and a good diet can do for you, besides keeping you healthy, it will also help you to look healthy.

The photos below are greatly reduced from their original size for this blog.  You can see them a bit larger by clicking on them - enjoy.

All photos shot with a Nikon D600 with the kit lens (24-85 zoom).  Most were shot at 85mm setting.
