Paddle Tennis Tournament Finals at Venice Beach August 10, 2014

It was a busy weekend at Venice Beach - Bikini Contest Saturday, and Paddle Tennis Tournament on Saturday and Sunday.  Here are the winners in the open division, as well as some shots of their finals match.  Hope you enjoy.  And before I forget, some photos of Don and Jackie, relaxing court side.  As always, click on the photos to see a larger size.

Now for the finals competition - some of these were shot through a small opening in the fence, and some through the fence.  Best I could do without being on the court, which would have been distracting and possibly interfering with play, as these guys are capable of covering every inch of the court.

Congratulations to Scott and Austin Doener - 3 times back to back Open Champs in Venice CA - had a great time watching and photographing the finals match.

As for paddle tennis - the courts are free, the game is addicting, you can rent paddles - come out and play, or watch...also for free.
